We are seeking a proactive and versatile Part-time Handyman to join our building maintenance facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of residential and commercial spaces, ensuring safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. Your expertise will help keep our property in top condition, supporting smooth operations and satisfied clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your carpentry skills while providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs, carpentry, and general handyman tasks
- Works under the direction of the superintendent and property manager
- Assist with facilities maintenance projects, including painting, drywall and wallpaper repairs
- Review and close upon completion any open work orders
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or handyman roles with a strong mechanical background
- Hands-on experience with painting, and general carpentry repair work
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English
- Experience working in residential settings is desirable
Pay: $23.00 - $28.21 per hour
