Position Overview

We are seeking an entry-level Customer Service Representative to support our Accounts Receivable Department. This is a customer service-focused role where you'll communicate with customers by phone and email, answer account-related questions, provide friendly payment reminders, and assist customers whose accounts are on credit hold.
This is not a traditional Accounts Receivable or aggressive collections position. Previous Accounts Receivable experience is not required—we provide training for the right candidate.
As a member of our small, collaborative team, reliability, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn are essential.
Responsibilities

Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer emails in a professional and timely manner.

Contact customers regarding past due accounts, along with credit holds.

Provide courteous payment reminders and discuss payment arrangements.

Obtain and document customer promises to pay.

Answer customer questions regarding account status.

Process credit card payments when customers call to make a payment.

Accurately document customer interactions and payment commitments.

Perform basic data entry and maintain customer records.

Use Microsoft Excel for basic account tracking and data entry.

Support the Accounts Receivable team with day-to-day administrative tasks.

Complete training and learn company processes while providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications

Must be able to pass drug and background screening.

Customer service experience preferred but not required.

Comfortable communicating with customers by phone and email.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Demonstrated reliability with consistent attendance and punctuality.

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.

Able to work independently and contribute to a small team environment.
