Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that support infant development milestones and incorporate best practices in early childhood education.
- Utilize learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technology tools to track progress, document observations, and communicate with families effectively.
- Design and adapt lesson plans that integrate literacy education, math concepts, physical activities, and sensory experiences to enhance overall development.
- Conduct ongoing student assessment to monitor growth, identify needs for academic interventions, and inform instructional strategies aligned with assessment-driven instruction principles.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management techniques while ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all children.
- Collaborate with colleagues on instructional design, classroom management strategies, and implementing multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) for children requiring additional assistance.
- Maintain compliance with educational regulations and standards while fostering strong communication skills with families to support child well-being and progress.
Experience
- Prior experience working with infants or toddlers in a childcare or preschool setting is required; experience teaching young children in private or preschool environments is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development theories, including Montessori or other specialized approaches such as preschool or toddler care.
- Proven ability to develop curriculum content that includes literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and library services tailored for early learners.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs, including implementing individualized educational plans (IEPs) and providing appropriate academic interventions.
- Strong classroom management skills combined with conflict management expertise to foster a positive learning environment.
- Familiarity with assessment tools for student performance data analysis and quantitative analysis for evaluating student progress over time.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues on lesson planning, instructional strategies, and student performance evaluation.
