Overview
The Evs Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within our facility. This position involves performing various cleaning and sanitation tasks to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental services, including experience in hospitals or commercial cleaning settings.
Responsibilities
- Execute thorough cleaning and sanitation of all areas within the facility, adhering to established protocols and standards.
- Perform floor care duties, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing as necessary to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely while following OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct routine inspections of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any maintenance or supply needs to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery in all custodial tasks.
- Maintain records of cleaning activities as required for compliance and quality assurance purposes.
Experience
- Previous experience in environmental services or janitorial roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with hospital environments or commercial cleaning practices is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, sanitation procedures, and floor care methods is essential.
- Understanding of OSHA regulations related to workplace safety and chemical handling is required.
