Job Title: Prep and Line Cook
Job Summary:
At Pal Campo Restaurant we are seeking Line Cook candidates to join our amazing team. The kitchen staff will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to our restaurant's specifications and standards. The successful candidate will have a passion for food and a desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Prepare and cook food according to established recipes and standards.
· Set up and stock workstations with all necessary supplies and ingredients.
· Ensure that food is prepared and cooked in a timely and efficient manner.
· Monitor food levels and replenish supplies as needed.
· Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and utensils.
· Follow all food safety and hygiene standards.
· Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that orders are completed accurately and efficiently.
· Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
· Knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards.
· Ability to read and follow recipes accurately.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
· Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
