Position Qualifications:
· At least 21 years of age.
· Valid driver’s license, with less than 5 points
· Must pass fingerprinting, initial, and random drug testing, complete CARI and Central Registry of Offenders against individuals with developmental disabilities N.J.A.C.10:44 D, and criminal background clearances.
· Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) license and 1 year of supervised experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
· Demonstrate proficiency in Positive Behavior Supports and Applied Positive Behavior Supports
Primary Responsibilities:
The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for assessing the needs of both prospective and current individuals served by Devoted Care Support Services. This role ensures the agency consistently provides the necessary behavioral supports and services to effectively meet each individual’s needs. The BCBA develops and monitors Behavior Support Plans and Strategies throughout the agency. Additionally, the BCBA is responsible for training staff on all Behavior Support Plans and Strategies, as well as the agency's selected crisis training curriculum, to ensure that staff implement the supports as outlined in these plans and strategies.
Essential Responsibilities:
· Attend 1-1hour per week
· Begin client assessments promptly
· Upon completion of plan/strategies, request a Planning Team Meeting to review and approve the plan (note some plans will require BMC and HRC approval)
· Schedule and conduct staff training on Behavior Supports and the agency’s crisis Management curriculum upon hire, annually, and as needed.
· Review referrals for all new admissions and attend intake meetings, when needed
· Review behavioral data weekly
· Complete monitoring reports for individuals receiving behavioral services monthly or quarterly, based on the individual’s needs
· Attend Annual NJISP and as needed Planning Team Meetings for individuals who require behavior supports
· Remain active on all agency communication platforms such as HHAX, email, and text
· Complete monthly administrative update notes for Administrative Meetings (virtual)
· Attend All Staff Meetings as scheduled (Virtual or in-person)
· Psychiatric Appointments uploaded in the agency’s electronic record
· Review and Follow Up on all Behavioral Incidents
· Utilize electronic platforms identified by the agency to maintain current documentation
· Ensure compliance with state-mandated regulations.
· Comply with all Federal Laws, DHS-DDD Community Care Program (CCP & Supports Program (SP) Manual, New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities standards and circulars, local regulations, and those of Devoted Care Support Services Policies and Procedures
· Must cooperate with Devoted Care Support Services and the Department of Human Services staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation
· Must successfully complete and demonstrate proficiency in all areas of required training, as mandated by the Division of Developmental Disabilities and the state of New Jersey
· Meet annual Professional Development and training requirements
· Stay abreast of all Division, state, and federal mandates and changes.
· Performs other duties as required.

Pay: $100.00 - $200.00 per hour
