Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead <PERSON> to spearhead our construction and restoration projects, ensuring excellence in craftsmanship, safety, and project delivery. As a vital team leader, you will oversee daily operations on-site, coordinate with subcontractors and clients, and ensure all work meets the highest standards of quality. Duties
- Lead and manage construction crews, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to specifications.
- Oversee the installation of framing, trim carpentry, drywall, siding, roofing, flooring, tile laying, cabinetry, door hanging, and other finish work.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution.
- Coordinate with project managers to plan schedules, order materials, and allocate resources effectively.
- Supervise the use of hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment to ensure precision and safety.
- Conduct quality inspections on-site for concrete forming, rebar installation, plastering, stucco application, masonry work, and water damage restoration.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards while managing heavy lifting and hazardous materials handling.
- Support troubleshooting issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC components, or structural elements during projects.
- Mentor team members in technical skills such as metal stud framing, caulking, fixture installation, mold remediation, remodeling techniques, and construction painting.
- Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, safety incidents, and material inventories.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating along with hands-on expertise in carpentry disciplines such as trim carpentry and frame carpentry.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation for diverse construction projects.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools (including CNC machinery), scaffolding systems and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
- Extensive construction site experience across restoration industry projects or general contracting environments.
- Familiarity with concrete forming techniques; rebar installation; roofing; masonry; tile laying; flooring installation; siding; drywall; plastering; stucco; cabinetry; door hanging; electrical experience; plumbing; water damage restoration; mold remediation; metal stud framing; fixture installation; remodeling; construction painting; water damage restoration processes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and coordinate multiple trades simultaneously.
