The Food Inventory & Fulfillment Specialist drives daily warehouse and production operations by accurately receiving and managing inventory, operating equipment safely, and packing high-quality meal orders in a climate-controlled facility. This role ensures stock accuracy, strict food safety, and seamless order preparation to deliver fresh, healthy meals to local schools.
During your interview we will go into detail about what assignments are available at these sites. The more sites and assignment types you are open to working, the more your earning potential is.

- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming dry, refrigerated, and frozen shipments against purchase orders; stage ingredients and packaging for daily production.
- Accurately assembly-pack meals, food items, and crates in a high-speed, cold-storage environment (30–35°F) according to daily production schedules.
- Support loading/unloading, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Perform routine cycle counts, enforce strict First-In, First-Out (FIFO) stock rotation, and maintain rigorous food safety, sanitation, and labeling standards.
- Partner with kitchen, warehouse, and logistics teams to meet tight production deadlines and assist with end-of-shift cleanup.

- Prior experience in warehouse operations, order picking, or food preparation.
- Comfortable working full shifts in cold storage environments (30–35°F); able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail, basic computer/inventory tracking skills, and the ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced setting.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
To keep students safe, you’ll need to:
- Pass a background check
- Follow safety and reporting guidelines
- Complete required school clearances which you are responsible for paying.
- Costs associated with the clearance process are the sole responsibility of the candidate, as this engagement is for an independent contractor role rather than a traditional employment position. Requirements vary by state but may include the cost of a background check, obtaining a copy of any college transcript you have, and the cost of completing Mandated Reporter training. The average cost of completing clearance in California for this role is between $123-214.
