MAIN JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately pick products based on pick tickets and order specifications
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely
- Maintain product integrity by following food safety and handling procedures
- Ensure orders are correctly labeled, wrapped, and ready for shipment
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation guidelines to prevent spoilage
- Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as assigned
- As part of your role, you may be required to perform additional duties or tasks as assigned by your manager or the company. Flexibility and a willingness to take on varied responsibilities are essential expectations for all positions
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a warehouse or food distribution environment a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for long periods
- Basic math and reading skills
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Willingness to work in a refrigerated or freezer areas as needed
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
