Boater’s World Marine Centers is actively hiring experienced Marine Technicians / Outboard Mechanics with 5+ years of experience who are open to relocating to Lake Placid, FL.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnose and repair outboard and inboard mechanical and electrical systems
- Rig new and pre-owned boats for delivery
- Install OEM and aftermarket parts and accessories
- Perform inspections and recommend service work
- Conduct water testing as needed
- Deliver high-quality work with minimal comebacks
- Identify additional service opportunities through strong diagnostics
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of marine technician experience (dealership experience preferred)
- Experience with outboard engines (Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, MerCruiser)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
- Electrical and rigging experience
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and productive
- Willingness to work Saturdays (closed Sundays + one weekday off)
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic

Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time position based in Lake Placid, FL
- Monday–Saturday schedule (one weekday off + Sunday closed)
- Overtime available during peak season
- Shop environment with physical activity (lifting, bending, kneeling)
Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year
