Job description:
An Assisted Living Center in Cumming is seeking care givers to assist residents in the Senior Living Program with their activities of daily living. These roles provide quality care to residents; implements specific procedures and programs; reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responds to inquiries or requests for information; and assists the immediate supervisor with tasks to support department operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities.
- Provide assistance, encouragement, for residents to be as independent as possible in their activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
- Participate in and lead one-on-one and group activities.
- Serve residents during mealtime, and assist with memory care, laundry, and basic housekeeping.
- Adhere to and is a champion for the Embrace Memory Care philosophy.
- Document daily according to memory care policies and procedures and state regulations, including any resident concerns, changes in condition, or related.
- Ensure that SLC policy and procedure are followed to maintain a safe work environment by preventing accidents, preserving equipment, and staff training on safe working practices.
- Ensure resident/family/employee concerns receive a timely response and follow-up.
- Handle other assigned duties.
Requirements & Skills:
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Must have at least one year of C.N.A or caregiver experience
