About the Role
As an Injection Molding Technician, you will serve as a critical technical resource responsible for optimizing production cycles and maintaining high-precision manufacturing standards. You will drive operational excellence by managing mold setups, troubleshooting complex automation systems, and ensuring that every production run meets rigorous quality and efficiency benchmarks.
Responsibilities-
Execute seamless mold change-overs, including auxiliary equipment and End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT) integration, to maximize machine uptime.

Drive continuous improvement by applying SMED and 6S methodologies to streamline production workflows.

Diagnose and resolve technical challenges related to injection molding processes, materials, and machinery to maintain consistent output.

Collaborate with engineering teams to validate that all products adhere to strict cosmetic and functional specifications.

Perform preventative maintenance on molds and automation systems to ensure long-term equipment reliability.

Utilize overhead cranes and forklifts to safely manage heavy tooling and equipment during setup procedures.

Document process parameters and communicate technical adjustments to ensure data integrity across shifts.

Troubleshoot and repair minor EOAT issues to keep automated cells running at peak performance.
Qualifications-
High School Diploma or equivalent.

3+ years of hands-on experience in injection molding processing.

Demonstrated proficiency in mold setup, startup, and auxiliary equipment operation.

Technical aptitude for troubleshooting hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.

Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues effectively.

Experience with advanced robot programming and automation integration.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting.

Proven track record of working in fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environments.
