Spartan Wall Repair & Waterproofing is a growing foundation repair and waterproofing contractor serving Central Ohio. We are currently seeking an experienced Brick & Block Mason / Masonry Laborer to join our team.
This position is primarily dedicated to brick masonry, block masonry, tuckpointing, chimney and foundation repair, structural masonry, and concrete block installation. When masonry work is not scheduled, you will work with our foundation repair and waterproofing crews performing general construction duties.

Responsibilities
- Lay brick, concrete block, CMU, and stone
- Perform tuckpointing and mortar repair
- Rebuild foundation walls and structural masonry
- Install lintels and perform masonry restoration
- Perform chimney, retaining wall, and foundation repairs
- Mix mortar and prepare masonry materials
- Read measurements and maintain proper layout
- Safely operate masonry saws, mixers, grinders, skid steers, mini excavators, and other construction equipment
- Assist with foundation repair, basement waterproofing, crawlspace repair, concrete repair, excavation, and general construction when masonry work is unavailable
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
Qualifications
- Masonry experience with brick and block required
- Experience with foundation repair or structural masonry is a plus
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow specifications
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work outdoors in all seasons
- Willingness to perform general construction duties as part of a professional crew
