Responsibilities:

Support efficient operating room turnover to minimize downtime between surgical cases.

Prepare, test, troubleshoot, clean, and maintain anesthesia equipment for clinical use.

Decontaminate, sterilize, and restock anesthesia equipment, supplies, medications, and carts.

Monitor inventory levels and maintain organized workrooms, stock areas, and surgical suites.

Set up and distribute anesthesia equipment, monitoring devices, and specialty supplies for procedures.

Assist anesthesia providers with IVs, invasive monitoring lines, airway management, and sterile procedure setup.

Transport anesthesia machines, equipment, supplies, and medications throughout the hospital and off-site locations.

Perform point-of-care testing and assist with blood product and specimen transport as needed.

Operate specialized equipment, including Blood Cell Saver systems and advanced monitoring devices.

Collaborate with anesthesia and operating room teams to prioritize workflow, support daily assignments, and ensure patient readiness.
Schedule: This position works Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4PM. This position may work in the OR, GI, OB, Cath Lab, IR, MRI, or any other required areas. May be subject to work other areas/days/shifts based on hospital needs. This position will require traveling to the Tri-State Surgery Center to pick up ordering supplies. It will be approximately 2 hours per week.

High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of anesthesia, emergency/medical or related experience required or Graduate from an accredited Anesthesia Tech school or program required.
