Automotive Service Writer Key Responsibilities
- Manage the service drive to ensure a smooth, high-quality customer experience
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding vehicle service recommendations, repair timelines, and costs
- Sell recommended maintenance and repair services while efficiently allocating technician hours
- Answer customer questions and help guide repair decisions
- Maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores
- Process warranty claims and maintain accurate service documentation
- Follow dealership policies and manufacturer standards
- Support the training and mentoring of service staff when needed
- Build long-term customer relationships through exceptional service
What We're Looking For
- Previous dealership Service Advisor or Service Writer experience preferred
- Professional, energetic, and customer-focused attitude
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Proven track record of sales performance and customer satisfaction
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Team player with leadership potential
Compensation: $65,000–$150,000 per year
