Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest issues using hand tools and pest detection equipment.
- Apply pesticides and chemical agents safely following pesticide management protocols and safety regulations, including respiratory protection and confined space entry procedures.
- Develop customized integrated pest management plans tailored to each client’s needs, emphasizing environmentally responsible practices.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly, ensuring adherence to driving safety standards and maintaining vehicle condition.
- Engage with customers professionally to explain pest control treatments, answer questions, and promote ongoing service plans.
- Use ladders and power tools safely for access to hard-to-reach areas during treatment applications or inspections.
- Maintain detailed records of chemical usage, pest activity, treatment procedures, and customer interactions for compliance and reporting purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in pest control, lawn care, farming, landscaping, agriculture or outdoor work environments.
- Knowledge of pesticide application techniques, chemical handling procedures, and integrated pest management strategies.
- Mechanical skills with familiarity using hand tools, power tools, farm machinery or land maintenance equipment.
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely with a valid driver’s license; clean driving record preferred.
- Understanding of ladder safety procedures and confined space entry safety protocols.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients.
- Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; comfortable working at heights using ladders.
- Relevant certifications or training in pesticide management, entomology or safety protocols are a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary licenses is expected.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
