Job Summary

Duties
- Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that support their developmental milestones across areas such as language skills, social-emotional growth, and fine and gross motor skills.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate children's progress and address individual needs related to special education or early intervention programs.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently while maintaining high standards of childcare and child welfare practices.
- Utilize standardized testing tools and assessment techniques to monitor developmental progress and inform instructional strategies.
- Incorporate diverse teaching strategies including tutoring, classroom management techniques, and lesson planning to meet the unique needs of each student.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies.
- Experience with curriculum development across multiple disciplines including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Classroom experience demonstrating effective classroom management and behavior management techniques.
- Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate standardized testing results and support individualized learning plans.
- Certification or degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications in special education or toddler care are a plus.
