Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. This vital role involves providing comprehensive respiratory care to patients across various settings, including hospital inpatient units, emergency departments, intensive care units, neonatal and pediatric units, and outpatient clinics. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in respiratory therapy, critical care, and patient assessment, ensuring optimal respiratory function and patient safety. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough patient assessments to evaluate respiratory status, including vital signs, oxygen saturation, and lung function.
- Administer respiratory therapies such as oxygen delivery, aerosol treatments, and medication administration in accordance with physician orders.
- Manage ventilator support for patients requiring mechanical ventilation, including setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting ventilator devices.
- Conduct airway management procedures including intubation assistance and airway clearance techniques.
- Respond promptly to cardiac arrest emergencies with appropriate resuscitation protocols and airway management.
- Operate and maintain medical equipment such as ventilators, nebulizers, and other respiratory devices with technical proficiency.
- Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health records (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with hospital policies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in critical care environments such as ICU, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), and trauma centers.
- Support emergency medicine efforts by providing immediate respiratory interventions during acute episodes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pulmonology principles, and medical terminology relevant to respiratory therapy.
- Participate in ongoing training related to neonatal resuscitation procedures and advanced airway management techniques.
- Assist in the education of patients and families regarding respiratory health maintenance.
MUST HAVE:
- RRT (NBRC) — CRT not accepted
- Active RI RT license or compact-eligible
- Certified BLS, NRP, and ALS — must be current
- Epic EMR experience required
- Min. [1–2] yrs recent NICU respiratory experience
Shift Timings: Nights: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am (12 hrs)
Weekly schedule: Nights: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am (12 hrs)

Pay: $87.00 - $88.00 per hour
