Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bartender to elevate our guests' experience through exceptional service, expert mixology, and a vibrant personality. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Manage multiple drink orders simultaneously with excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end.
- Monitor beverage inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and communicate stock shortages promptly.
- Uphold all health and safety standards related to food safety, food handling, and responsible alcohol service.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate catering events, banquets, or nightclub functions ensuring seamless service.
- Promote sales by suggesting drink specials or menu items to guests while demonstrating knowledge of fine dining and retail math principles.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in fast-paced environments such as nightclubs, fine dining establishments, or banquet settings.
- Extensive knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining quality service.
- Strong background in food industry standards including food safety, food handling, and responsible alcohol service.
- Experience serving in hospitality settings that require catering or banquet experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with retail math for sales promotion and inventory management purposes.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse clientele confidently.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales transactions are essential.
- Knowledge of brewing processes or nightclub operations is a plus for candidates seeking a versatile role within the food industry.
