Position Overview:
The Residential HVAC Comfort Consultant helps serve and educate our customers about our company and products. Additionally, this person would listen to the customers' heating and cooling needs and work with them to determine the best possible solution for their home. As a Residential HVAC Comfort Consultant at LOGAN Heating and Air, you will perform a complete survey of the customer’s home to include load calculations, existing HVAC equipment identification, and duct work analysis.
Job Duties/Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

Promote HVAC products and services to residential customers.

Reach and exceed sales revenue goals, closing ratios, and net profits.

Conduct in-home sales evaluations, develop in-home presentation skills and proposals.

Present proposals to customers and close the sale.
-
Follow up on all unsold projects with all customer types.
-
Promote IAQ products, Home Energy Assessments, Geothermal systems, and HVAC upgrades.

Work with the installation department to make sure jobs are completed promptly and accurately.

Achieve 100% customer satisfaction.

Focus on self-generated leads and ask for referrals after each job.

Complete project paperwork timely and complete.

Collaborate with customers to recommend system solutions, including maintenance programs.

Gain knowledge of the HVAC codes and best in class installation procedures.

AR responsibilities: Follow up with each customer for prompt payment after each sale.

Stay up to date on the latest HVAC technology

Be a “self-starter” in all areas of the job responsibilities and make suggestions to improve sales for customers.

Prospect for sales opportunities with property management, residential builders, etc.

Special sales projects may be assigned to help meet department and company goals.
Skills/Abilities/Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Excellent presentation skills.

Positive, professional demeanor and customer service orientation/mindset.

Ability to assess customer needs to deliver helpful and appropriate solutions.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Above average computer skills in MS Office Suite. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen as part of post-offer process.
Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Associates or college degree preferred
-
5+ years of experience in HVAC operations (service or installation) and/or sales.

Previous sales experience.
