Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Architect to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a technically strong architect who enjoys taking ownership of projects and delivering high-quality architectural solutions from design through construction. The Project Architect is responsible for leading project production, coordinating with clients and consultants, and ensuring the timely delivery of accurate, code-compliant construction documents. This position plays a key role in maintaining project quality, mentoring team members, and supporting successful project execution across a variety of market sectors.Duties
- Lead the development and coordination of construction documents through all phases of project delivery.
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.
- Develop technical solutions that meet project goals, applicable codes, and client expectations.
- Perform quality control reviews of drawings and specifications for completeness and accuracy.
- Coordinate structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and specialty consultant work.
- Participate in client meetings, project planning sessions, and design reviews.
- Support construction administration activities, including RFIs, submittals, site observations, and document revisions.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior architects and design staff.
- Assist with project scheduling, resource planning, and workload coordination.
- Maintain organized project documentation and ensure timely communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay current with building codes, construction methods, and industry best practices.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of construction documentation, detailing, building systems, and applicable building codes.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated leadership, accountability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Required Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
- Minimum 3 years of professional architectural experience; 5+ years of project management experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading architectural projects through design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
- Experience coordinating consultants and managing project documentation.
- Strong technical production experience with construction documents using Revit.
Preferred Education and/or Experience
- Architectural licensure or active pursuit of licensure.
- Experience with healthcare, commercial, education, multi-family, or public sector projects.
- Experience with Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Deltek Ajera, and Microsoft Project.
- Construction administration and field observation experience.
- Experience mentoring junior staff and leading project teams.

Pay: $66,000.00 - $86,500.00 per year
