Duties
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, portioning, and assembling ingredients for chefs and cooks
- Support catering and banquet events by preparing food items and ensuring timely setup and cleanup
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, including counters, floors, sinks, and storage areas through regular cleaning routines
- Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas during service hours to ensure a smooth flow of operations
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to support cooking processes and ensure timely delivery of orders
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Familiarity with restaurant or hotel operations, including food handling, cleaning, or catering is advantageous
- Prior banquet or large-event experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in a fast-paced setting
