We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Morning Prep / Morning Line Cooks to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble breakfast and morning menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicing machines, ovens, stoves, and food processors
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with menu planning by preparing ingredients in advance for upcoming service periods
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality throughout the food preparation process
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal assembly and address any special dietary needs or modifications
- Support catering services by preparing large quantities of breakfast items as needed for events or bulk orders
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food industry setting, including restaurant or catering environments, is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety management, hygiene standards, and proper food handling techniques
- Demonstrated knife skills, slicing techniques, and proficiency with kitchen tools and equipment
- Experience with meal preparation, recipe adherence, and menu planning in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work early mornings reliably while maintaining high energy levels throughout the shift
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen team members
- Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus
