Pest Control Field Operations Lead – Profit Sharing & Equity TrackBuild a business, not just a résumé.
Rosen Pest Defense is a growing Phoenix-area pest-control company looking for an exceptionally driven, dependable, and hands-on person to take responsibility for our field operations and grow into a true operating partner.
This is not a standard pest-control technician position. Initially, you will personally work in the field, learn every part of the operation, and make sure each job is completed safely, professionally, efficiently, and to a high standard. As the company grows, you will transition into leading the field team, overseeing technicians, managing daily operations, and helping build a highly profitable company.
Pest-control experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person. We care much more about work ethic, reliability, practical ability, good judgment, and a genuine desire to succeed.
What You Will Do
- Perform pest-control, inspection, exclusion, sealing, and other hands-on field work.
- Take responsibility for the quality and completion of jobs.
- Communicate professionally with customers and solve problems when they arise.
- Help manage routes, scheduling, equipment, materials, and inventory.
- Identify ways to make the operation more efficient and profitable.
- Help create and improve field procedures and quality-control standards.
- As the company grows, help recruit, train, schedule, and supervise additional pest-control technicians.
- Work directly with the founder and CEO to develop the company.
Who We Are Looking For
The right person will be:
- Extremely dependable, hard-working, and focused.
- Motivated by success, responsibility, and the opportunity to build something valuable.
- Comfortable working independently without constant supervision.
- Handy and comfortable using common hand and power tools.
- Able to troubleshoot practical problems and find solutions.
- Comfortable working outdoors in the Phoenix climate.
- Comfortable using ladders and working at reasonable heights, including accessible roofs, while following proper safety procedures.
- Physically capable of performing active field work.
- Professional and respectful when dealing with customers.
- Willing to complete any required pest-control training and licensing.
- Interested in eventually leading people rather than remaining only a field technician.
- Able to think like an owner and make decisions based on what is best for the company.
A background in construction, maintenance, roofing, landscaping, home services, field service, logistics, the military, or another hands-on industry may be helpful, but it is not required.
Compensation, Profit Sharing, and Ownership
This position is designed for someone who wants greater responsibility and upside than a conventional field job.
After agreed business operating expenses are covered, available operating income will first be allocated toward the Operations Lead’s annual compensation, up to $60,000 per year. After that compensation level is reached, additional profits will be shared between the Operations Lead and the owner according to a clearly defined written formula.
The right person will also have the opportunity to earn a minority equity ownership interest in Rosen Pest Defense. That ownership will vest over time based on continued service, performance, responsibility, and agreed company-growth milestones.
The founder will remain the company’s majority owner and CEO. The Operations Lead will have meaningful authority over field operations and a genuine financial stake in the business being built.
All compensation, profit-sharing, expense definitions, responsibilities, decision-making authority, and equity-vesting terms will be clearly documented in writing before employment begins.
Why This Opportunity Is Different
This is an opportunity to get involved with a growing company early and become an important part of its future.
The person who succeeds in this role will not simply complete service calls. You will help shape how the company operates, build the field team, improve profitability, and participate financially in the value you help create.
This opportunity is best suited to someone who:
- Wants to build something rather than merely hold a job.
- Believes personal effort should lead to greater financial upside.
- Wants a path toward leadership and ownership.
- Is willing to take on responsibility before receiving an impressive title.
- Takes pride in doing difficult work well.
This will not be the right fit for someone seeking a narrowly defined, clock-in-and-clock-out position. It is intended for someone with initiative, ambition, and the desire to become a long-term operating partner.
