Job Summary
An Assistant Automotive Core Buyer is responsible for accompanying and assisting company core buyers on the road. This position often requires time staying overnight from 1-3 nights per week (During the training period, most time will be spent on local routes). Loading trucks on the road is done primarily by hand. Training for specific knowledge regarding automotive cores will be learned on the job. This position also requires the ability to drive company box trucks (under 26,000 GVW). No CDL required.
Duties
- Assisting core buyers in their duties on the road
- Buying and handling automotive cores
- Loading trucks (mostly by hand)
- Driving company box trucks (No CDL required)
- Gaining and maintaining knowledge of the materials we recycle (will train)

Qualifications
- High School Diploma (associates degree a plus)
- Previous experience in the automotive or recycling industry is a plus
- Experience driving large trucks is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
