Brief Role Description:
The Project Manager is responsible for the accurate and timely implementation of large and/or complex orders from sales handoff through billing completion. This includes coordinating between internal teams, monitoring external vendors and ensuring all customer communication is prioritized throughout the order or project lifecycle. The customer and agent experience are ultimately the responsibility of the Project Manager.
Responsibilities:

Serve as the single point of contact for the customer and agent during the installation process.

Hold internal and external kick-off calls with customer, agent and vendors to review project, order details, installation process, required documentation and billing expectations.

Chair Technical Review calls for Hosted and SD-WAN deployments ensuring proper technical contacts are included to develop agreed upon deployment configuration.

Develop Project Plans that are updated daily and shared with the customer and agent weekly via scheduled Project Status calls.

Proactively track orders in all systems ensuring all tasks are completed on time and accurately so orders flow through the installation process.

Coordinate with other key function areas within the installation process: Sales Engineering, Carrier Access, Logistics, Translations, IP Engineering, Field Services, LNP and Billing.

Escalate any potential installation delay to the appropriate team(s) and follow-up to ensure all roadblocks are removed.

Provide valuable input for process improvement, working in conjunction with Product Management, Engineering and IT.
Requirements:

3-5 years’ telecommunications experience including advanced knowledge of telecommunications products and delivery mechanisms

Operations, service delivery and support experience required

Strong Project and Time Management skills

Highly organized

Ability to think outside the box and be a Problem Solver

Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal

Comfortable interacting with all levels of management

Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products

BA/BS Degree a plus

Project Management Professional designation not required but is a plus
