Lead - 2nd Shift
The Lead is responsible for all the tasks required to run manufacturing of weather seals at our Dover NH facility. The Lead will be working with plastic extrusion machinery and overseeing a team of 3-5 employees.
- Monday - Thursday, 2nd Shift
- 40 hours per week
- 10 Hour Shift
- Start Time 3:30 PM - 1:30AM
- Overtime - as needed
- Training will require some day time availability. We will work to accommodate schedules.
Location: Dover NH
Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety guidelines within the facility
- Operate machinery and tools used in the processing & manufacturing of our products.
- Follow detailed work instructions for producing a consistent high-quality product.
- Startup and shutdown of production lines.
- Perform quality tests such as: measuring with calipers, utilizing electronic gauges, performing functional tests
- Record quality data in company computer system.
- Identify product defects
- Perform tooling changeovers
- Perform color changes
- Clean and assemble dies/tooling
- Perform PMs
- Make adjustment to machine parameters to get product in specification
- Delegate miscellaneous activities to team
- Meet production targets (Footage Produced, scrap, changeover times)
- Strap and wrap product as required
- Routine preventative maintenance tasks
- Train operators
Skills:
- Experience working in manufacturing environment.
- Ability to follow detailed written instructions.
- Ability to perform basic computer operations using our ERP system.
- Can work independently and also as part of a team.
- Ability to troubleshoot and identify problems in the manufacturing process
- Cross-shift communication
- Communicate process improvements
Required Qualifications:
- High School degree or equivalent is required.
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
