The Job:
We are seeking experienced Housekeepers to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for performing housekeeping and cleaning duties throughout Fox Hill Village's campus.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $19/hour
- We have two positions open: One Full-time and One Part-Time (around 16 hours a week).
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Clean assigned areas, resident apartments and common areas according to written assignments.
- Wash, dust, polish vacuum and sweep all assigned areas.
- Clean windows, mirrors, sinks, tubs, showers and toilets according to prescribed sanitary standards and written assignments.
- Sort and wash laundry using machines.
- Empty and clean trash cans.
- Stay in assigned areas and assist other associates as necessary or directed.
- Use FHV cleaning products unless resident has a special request and wants to supply the cleaning products.
- Remove debris/trash from the front of the building, driveways and all common areas inside and out.
- Wash, dust, polish, vacuum and sweep all areas of the lobby and common areas including Front Desk and elevators.
- Arrange cushions properly is designated areas.
- Observe and report any maintenance issues. Adhere to all safety policies including reporting all incidents immediately to immediate supervisor.
- Interact with residents, employees, colleagues in a positive, supportive manner.
- Wear clean uniform appropriately and display name badge as required.
Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work in a team setting and be a team player.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing with residents and staff.
- Possess excellent customer service and organizational skills; be friendly and polite.
- Full-time, professional position requiring a flexible work schedule to effectively perform the essential functions of the job and meet deadlines, resident(s)/family needs.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Two (2) years of housekeeping experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking 90% of the time, must be able to lift 25 pounds.
