Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric migration modern data platforms and full stack application development The ideal candidate will lead enterprisescale data modernization initiatives architect scalable governed cloudnative solutions and collaborate with crossfunctional teams to build integrated analytics and application platforms
The role requires handson experience in Microsoft Fabric Azure Data Engineering services data migration strategies governance and full stack development using modern web technologies
Key Responsibilities
Architecture Migration
Lead architecture and migration of enterprise data platforms to Microsoft Fabric
Design scalable secure modern data solutions using Lakehouse Data Warehouse Fabric Data Factory OneLake RealTime Intelligence and Power BI
Define medallion architecture BronzeSilverGold semantic models and capacitycost governance FSKU planning for Fabric workloads
Define enterprise data architecture standards ADRs HLDLLD governance and best practices
Develop migration strategies from legacy platforms SQL Server Synapse Hadoop Teradata onprem DWHs to Microsoft Fabric
Data Engineering
Build and optimize ETLELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory Fabric Data Factory PySpark Delta Lake and SQL
Implement dimensional modeling Kimball StarSnowflake SCD Type 12 and Data Vault 20 where appropriate
Leverage Shortcuts Mirroring and Direct Lake mode for performance and cost optimization
Perform table maintenance OPTIMIZE VACUUM VOrder partitioning and query tuning
Governance Security Compliance
Establish data contracts lineage and Microsoft Purviewbased governance across domains
Implement RowLevel Security RLS ObjectLevel Security OLS sensitivity labels workspace roles private endpoints and VNet data gateways
Ensure data security compliance performance tuning and high availability of data platforms
RealTime AI
Design realtime analytics using Fabric Eventstream KQL databases ReflexActivator Event Hubs and Kafka
Integrate AIML workloads Fabric Data Science MLflow notebooks Azure OpenAI Copilot in Fabric vector search RAG patterns
Full Stack APIs
Design and develop full stack applications and datadriven portals using modern frameworks
Create REST and GraphQL APIs microservices and backend services for data integration and analytics consumption
Publish and govern APIs via Azure API Management
DevOps Delivery
Implement CICD pipelines InfrastructureasCode and automated deployment processes
Lead AgileScrum delivery design reviews estimation and presales technical input
Mentor development and engineering teams on architecture standards and implementation best practices

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.

Benefits
Compensation range: $95,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
