To Qualify as an RN:
Current State License as an RN
Prior experience working with the elderly population
Prior experience in Long-Term Care/Healthcare is preferred
Empathy and care for those that need help
Effective communication skills
Some of Your Responsibilities as an RN Include:
Administer medications and treatments to residents as per physician orders
Maintain accuracy of patient records including charting as needed
Assess residents and document as needed on a regular basis
Report and investigate incidents thoroughly and timely
Assist physicians during rounds
Provide guidance and training for aides
Demonstrates proficient nursing skills
