Job Summary

Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation and personal hygiene.
- Provide home health support, ensuring a clean and safe living environment.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client health through patient observation.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy and confidentiality.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities, promoting social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Support clients in home community care settings, including group homes.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a tidy environment.
- Respond promptly to client needs and emergencies, utilizing CPR skills when necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and dietary restrictions.
- Familiarity with home health practices and medication administration protocols.
- CPR certification is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks as part of maintaining the client's living space.
