What you’ll bring:
- Master's, Specialist, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
- Valid CDE Special Service Provider License with endorsement in School Psychology
- Proven experience as a school psychologist in educational settings
- Up-to-date knowledge and practice of student assessments and interventions
- Strong capability with both cognitive and behavioral assessments, IEP goal setting, and educational impact reporting
- Skilled communicator, able to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and external partners
- Calm, solution-oriented approach to crisis and risk situations
- Expertise with technology relevant to student management and documentation
- Experience supporting students from diverse backgrounds
Your responsibilities:
- Deliver direct group and individual counseling to special education students according to IEPs
- Design, implement, and monitor academic, behavioral, emotional, and mental health interventions
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, write detailed reports, and support IEP process
- Assess and respond swiftly to crisis situations, including risk assessments and safety planning
- Collaborate with internal teams, families, and outside agencies to foster student adjustment and success
- Participate in key meetings (IEP, MTSS, behavioral health teams, staff development)
- Provide psychoeducation, consultation, and professional development for staff and families
- Coordinate with community resources to support students’ holistic needs
