We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and mission-driven Resource Development Coordinator to support and strengthen our fundraising operations and resource development efforts.
Position Overview
The Resource Development Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the organization's fundraising success by managing the operational infrastructure that drives resource development activities. This position is responsible for maintaining funding pipelines, coordinating grant activities, managing fundraising systems and data, supporting donor engagement efforts, and ensuring the department operates efficiently and effectively. By maintaining strong systems and processes, this role allows senior leadership to focus on cultivating relationships and securing major funding opportunities.
What You'll Do
Fundraising Operations & Pipeline Management
- Maintain and manage the organization's funding pipeline, fundraising calendar, and grant tracking systems.
- Monitor grant submissions, reporting deadlines, renewals, awards, and compliance requirements.
- Track fundraising activity, revenue goals, proposal submissions, and key fundraising metrics.
- Prepare fundraising reports and pipeline updates for leadership review.
Grant & Proposal Coordination
- Coordinate grant reporting and proposal support activities.
- Collect program and financial data needed for grant applications and reports.
- Maintain proposal templates, supporting documentation, and compliance records.
- Assist with submission logistics and grant administration activities.
Systems & Data Management
- Maintain and improve departmental systems, databases, and operational workflows.
- Manage information across Airtable, SharePoint, CRM platforms, and related systems.
- Ensure records remain accurate, compliant, organized, and accessible.
- Safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of donor, funder, and organizational data.
Donor Engagement & Campaign Support
- Coordinate donor acknowledgment processes, gift tracking, and thank-you communications.
- Support fundraising campaigns, sponsorship efforts, donor cultivation activities, and special events.
- Assist with outreach materials, email communications, and campaign coordination.
- Create or support content using platforms such as HubSpot and Canva.
Research & Strategic Support
- Research prospective foundations, government agencies, corporations, CDFIs, and other funding sources.
- Monitor grant alerts, funder websites, and philanthropic resources for funding opportunities.
- Maintain funder prospect information, eligibility requirements, and application timelines.
- Provide organized research and recommendations to support fundraising strategy.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising administration, grants management, project management, or a related field.
- Experience managing databases using CRM systems, Airtable, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Successful completion of background check
- Valid State Issued Identification
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional education or experience in nonprofit management, public administration, communications, or a related field.
- Experience supporting grant reporting, fundraising operations, or grant proposal development.
- Knowledge of donor management systems, HubSpot, DonorBox, Canva, or related platforms.
- Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising, affordable housing, community development, CDFI funding, or the Baltimore philanthropic community.
