Construction Laborer – Auger Boring
Overview
Join Horizontal Boring LLC as a Construction Laborer in our Auger Boring Division and become part of an experienced underground construction team. This position is ideal for dependable, hardworking individuals who are comfortable performing physical labor, working outdoors & supporting crews around heavy equipment.
Construction Laborers assist with daily auger boring operations, jobsite preparation, material handling & general site support. This is a full-time position paying $22.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience, with opportunities to learn, develop your skills & grow within the company.
Duties
- Assist Auger Boring operators, Foremen & crew members with daily operations.
- Perform general labor including digging, shoveling, lifting & moving materials.
- Assist with preparing bore pits, work areas & jobsite access.
- Load, unload & organize tools, materials & equipment.
- Help with jobsite setup, cleanup & maintaining an organized work area.
- Work safely around excavators, boring equipment & other heavy construction equipment.
- Follow company, OSHA & jobsite safety requirements at all times.
- Assist with additional underground construction duties as directed by the Foreman or Superintendent.
Experience
- Previous construction, underground utility or heavy civil experience is preferred, but not required.
- Auger boring or underground construction experience is a plus.
- Experience working around heavy equipment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, digging & working on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in Arizona weather conditions.
- Must be dependable, safety-minded & willing to work as part of a crew.
- Willingness to learn new skills & take direction from experienced crew members.
- Valid driver’s license is a plus.
