Position Summary
The Buffet Attendant is responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and professional service during weekend breakfast service. This role supports smooth buffet operations by ensuring food stations are well-stocked, the dining area remains clean and organized, and guests receive a positive and welcoming experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, maintain, and replenish breakfast buffet items in a timely and attractive manner.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and freshness throughout service.
- Keep buffet stations, dining areas, and service areas clean and organized at all times.
- Assist guests courteously and respond promptly to requests or questions.
- Communicate inventory or replenishment needs to kitchen or supervisory staff.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
- Support the breakfast team with closing duties, including cleaning and restocking for the next shift.
Qualifications
- Previous food & beverage or hospitality experience preferred.
- Strong guest-service mindset with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs.
