<Job Summary>
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our store. The ideal candidate will lead a team to deliver outstanding customer service, manage inventory, and ensure the store's profitability. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for retail management to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience for our guests. Expectation of a 50 hour work week with a additional premium day.
<Duties>
- Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating employee performance.
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system oversight.
- Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize sales.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase store visibility and sales.
- Monitor sales performance and manage budgets to meet financial targets.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, policies, and updates effectively.
<Skills>
- Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities.
- Strong negotiation skills for vendor relations and purchasing negotiations.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities are preferred.
- Proficiency in inventory control systems, POS technology, and retail math principles.
- Ability to recruit, train, and develop team members for optimal performance.
- Skilled in cash handling, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and budgeting tasks.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of merchandising, marketing strategies, and retail sales techniques.
- Experience in shift management, sales management, and retail management best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on employee orientation and training & development initiatives.
