Duties
- Engage in outside sales activities by prospecting new clients through cold calling, lead generation, and territory management to expand our customer base.
- Manage existing accounts with a focus on customer satisfaction, upselling, and long-term relationship building through effective account management strategies.
- Conduct product demos and technical sales presentations to showcase solutions tailored to client needs.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans within assigned territories to maximize sales opportunities.
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for informed decision-making.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while maintaining profitability and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that support territory sales growth and brand awareness.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and offering tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
Experience
- Proven track record in outside sales, B2B (business-to-business) sales, or territory management within a technology or related industry.
- Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for lead tracking and account management.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities for effective customer engagement.
- Demonstrated success in business development, lead generation, and direct sales strategies.
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques, inside/outside sales processes, and technical product demonstrations is highly desirable.
- Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Prior experience in managing multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
