Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to join our team and help lead our restaurant operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily restaurant activities, support staff development, and ensure an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate will bring strong management skills, a passion for food service, and a proactive approach to team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts
- Supervise and motivate team members, providing training and development to enhance performance
- Oversee food preparation, food safety, and quality control standards in accordance with health regulations
- Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining optimal stock levels
- Handle cash transactions, POS system operations (including Aloha POS and Micros POS), and cash handling procedures
- Support shift management by coordinating staff schedules and ensuring adequate coverage during busy hours
- Monitor customer service standards to deliver an exceptional dining experience and address guest concerns promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management, with a strong background in food industry operations
- Demonstrated supervising and team management skills, including staff training and interviewing experience
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Toast; cash handling expertise required
- Familiarity with food safety management, inventory control, and food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and order calculations
- Excellent communication skills with managerial staff and hospitality teams
- Experience in culinary arts or kitchen management is preferred; hospitality or hotel experience is a plus
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced environment

Pay: From $53,000.00 per year
