Position Summary
The Senior HRIS Analyst is responsible for the administration, optimization, configuration, reporting, analytics, and support of the organization's Human Resources Information Systems, with a primary focus on ADP Lyric and integrated HR technology platforms. This role serves as the technical and functional subject matter expert for HRIS operations, including system configuration, integrations, workforce management, leave administration, compensation administration, benefits administration, total rewards programs, workforce analytics, compliance reporting, onboarding automation, security administration, and process improvement initiatives.
The Senior HRIS Analyst partners closely with Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, Benefits, Operations, and executive leadership to leverage workforce data and technology solutions that drive informed business decisions, improve operational effectiveness, support strategic workforce planning, and enhance the employee experience.
The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience administering ADP Lyric or comparable Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms, strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, expertise in workforce analytics and business intelligence, and a deep understanding of HR, payroll, benefits, compensation, total rewards, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
HRIS Administration & System Management
Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for ADP Lyric and associated HR technology platforms.
Configure, maintain, and optimize HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Leave Management, Time & Attendance, and Employee Self-Service modules.
Manage system tables, workflows, business rules, organizational structures, approval paths, security roles, and data governance standards.
Ensure data integrity through regular audits, reconciliations, validation procedures, and proactive monitoring activities.
Analyze system functionality and recommend enhancements to improve operational efficiency, automation, compliance, and employee experience.
Develop and maintain HRIS process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), configuration guides, and training materials.
Maintain organizational structures, position management, workflow configurations, and security administration within the HRIS environment.
Identify opportunities for automation, workflow optimization, and continuous process improvement across HR operations.
Coordinate system testing, upgrades, implementations, patches, and enhancement activities.
Provide end-user support and training for HRIS processes, reporting tools, and employee self-service functionality.
Promote HR technology best practices, data governance standards, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
Integrations & Vendor Management
Manage inbound and outbound integrations between ADP Lyric and third-party systems, including benefits vendors, timekeeping platforms, applicant tracking systems, retirement vendors, compliance solutions, and workforce management tools.
Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot interface issues, and coordinate resolution efforts with vendors and internal IT teams.
Partner with vendors and implementation teams to support system enhancements, data exchanges, and ongoing optimization initiatives.
Compensation Administration
Support compensation administration activities, including compensation structures, job architecture, job codes, salary grades, pay ranges, incentive programs, and compensation-related reporting.
Conduct compensation benchmarking, market pricing, pay equity analysis, and salary range administration to support competitive and equitable compensation practices.
Support annual compensation review processes, including merit increases, promotional increases, market adjustments, and incentive compensation programs.
Analyze compensation data and workforce trends to provide recommendations that support retention, recruitment, and organizational objectives.
Ensure compensation data integrity and compliance with applicable wage and hour laws, pay transparency requirements, and internal compensation policies.
Benefits & Total Rewards
Partner with Benefits, Payroll, Finance, IT, and HR leadership to support open enrollment activities, carrier integrations, leave administration, retirement programs, wellness initiatives, employee recognition programs, and total rewards strategies.
Develop total rewards reporting and workforce analytics related to participation, utilization, costs, trends, and organizational metrics.
Analyze benefit program utilization, costs, employee participation, and workforce demographics to identify opportunities for program enhancements.
Evaluate the effectiveness and return on investment (ROI) of total rewards programs and provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with Finance and Benefits teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliation activities related to employee benefit programs and total rewards investments.
Business Analytics & Workforce Intelligence
Serve as a strategic partner in the development and delivery of enterprise workforce analytics utilizing HRIS, payroll, benefits, compensation, leave, and operational data to drive informed business decisions and organizational performance.
Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting tools supporting workforce planning, compliance reporting, operational metrics, labor cost management, and strategic decision-making.
Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to talent acquisition, retention, turnover, engagement, compensation, benefits utilization, leave management, productivity, and workforce effectiveness.
Analyze workforce trends and organizational data to identify risks, opportunities, and recommendations that support business objectives.
Utilize statistical analysis, predictive analytics, and trend analysis to support workforce planning and organizational strategy.
Partner with Finance and executive leadership to support labor forecasting, headcount planning, workforce budgeting, and long-term strategic workforce initiatives.
Translate complex workforce and operational data into meaningful insights and executive-level recommendations.
Develop data visualization solutions that provide leadership with actionable information to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Compliance & Audit Support
Support internal and external audits, regulatory reporting requirements, and compliance initiatives related to HR, payroll, benefits, leave administration, and workforce data.
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment regulations, data privacy requirements, and organizational policies.
Support preparation and submission of required workforce and compliance reporting, including EEO, ACA, retirement plan, and other regulatory filings.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or related field required
Experience with ADP DataCloud, ADP Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or comparable business intelligence and reporting platforms preferred.
Knowledge of California labor law, wage and hour regulations, pay transparency requirements, and HR compliance requirements preferred.
Experience supporting compensation administration, salary planning, job architecture, and total rewards programs preferred.
Experience supporting workforce planning, organizational analytics, and labor forecasting initiatives preferred.
Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, HRIP, or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.
