Under the direction of the Nurse Manager within the Surgical Services Service Line, the Clinical Manager (CM) leads daily operations, including staffing, patient flow, service recovery, staff accountability, communication, and frontline support. The CM maintains a visible leadership presence, removes operational barriers, reinforces department expectations and organizational priorities, and partners with leadership and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality care. This role supports progress toward key goals, including but not limited to patient experience, quality outcomes, productivity, employee engagement, throughput, and regulatory compliance
Education/Certification:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
Current, unencumbered North Carolina or compact state RN license
BLS upon hire. NCI certification within 90 days. ACLS within 6 months
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience in a relevant acute care or critical care setting required. Previous charge nurse, preceptor, clinical coordinator, assistant nurse manager, or other demonstrated unit-based nursing leadership experience preferred
