Amor Café is seeking dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Cooks to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is passionate about food preparation, maintains high standards of quality and cleanliness, and works well in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure food quality, taste, and portion consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen stations
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations
- Assist with prep work, including chopping, measuring, and ingredient organization
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and properly
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality standards
- Assist with receiving, labeling, and storing food deliveries
- Communicate and coordinate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Support overall kitchen cleanliness, including washing dishes and sanitizing work areas as needed
