This is a full-time, salary position assisting our sales team with operations, load planning, data entry, prospecting and more. In this role, you will act as the right hand to the brokerage team. You will learn the in's and out's of freight brokering from the ground up. The right candidate will have the opportunity to progress into a direct sales position if available. What we are looking for:
- Customer service and strong communication skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Experience with phone and outside sales is a plus
- Prior logistics experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to Multi-task and manage your time effectively
- Bilingual is a plus
- Enthusiasm and hunger for understanding the vast world of logistics
Job Duties:
- Enter orders in TMS, set appointments, track carriers.
- Market research and sales prep
- Assist brokers with operational duties
- Check calls, spot rates, visibility on order status
- Organize and execute daily service needs
