Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel applications, acrylic nails, and nail extensions with precision and care
- Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement each client’s style and skin tone
- Maintain strict salon safety protocols by practicing proper sanitation, disinfection procedures, and equipment sterilization to ensure a safe environment for everyone
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide expert advice on nail care, and ensure a satisfying experience
- Upsell retail products like nail polishes, treatments, and skincare items to enhance client results and increase sales opportunities
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold salon standards of cleanliness and professionalism while fostering a positive atmosphere
Qualifications
- Spanish and English speaking fluently
- Over 2 years experience
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a Nail Technician or similar role with knowledge of nail care techniques
- Strong understanding of color theory, nail extensions, gel manicures, acrylic application, and sanitation standards
- Certification in cosmetology or related field is required; additional training in esthetic laser treatments or hair threading is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their needs
- Knowledge of salon safety protocols including disinfection procedures and proper use of sterilization equipment
- Ability to perform detailed work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Demonstrated retail sales skills with experience in upselling products such as body waxing or eyelash extensions

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
