We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Sports Medicine trained physician or an Interventional Spine Fellow to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide specialized care focused on sports-related injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, and spine interventions from back pain and neck pain to any type of joint pain, including shoulder pain and knee pain, Dr. Mancuso and the team offer a wide range of effective treatments for individualized care. You will play a vital part in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with acute and chronic pain, utilizing advanced interventional techniques and comprehensive clinical expertise. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations using medical imaging and other tools.
- Develop personalized treatment plans emphasizing sports medicine principles, minimally invasive spine interventions, and pain management strategies.
- Perform interventional procedures such as spinal injections, nerve blocks, and other minimally invasive techniques to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including radiologists, physical therapists, and primary care providers to optimize patient care pathways.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively to document patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, lifestyle modifications, and medication management.
- Stay current with advancements in sports medicine, interventional spine procedures, and related fields through ongoing research and professional development.
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with completion of residency training in Sports Medicine or related specialty such as Anesthesiology or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
- Board certification or eligibility in Sports Medicine or equivalent subspecialty training; fellowship experience in Interventional Spine is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience with medical imaging modalities including MRI, CT scans, and X-rays for diagnostic evaluation.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms for efficient documentation and patient management.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare diagnosis processes across multiple specialties including Orthopedics, Neurology, Rheumatology, Pain Medicine, and Surgery.
- Experience with interventional radiography techniques such as spinal tap procedures or nerve blocks is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about their conditions and treatment options.
- Prior inpatient or outpatient clinical experience demonstrating comprehensive patient care capabilities; post-residency experience is advantageous.
- Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and practicing within the scope of licensure while delivering high-quality care.

Pay: $54,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
