Uncle Tony's Reptile Zoo is preparing to open Long Island's newest hands-on reptile zoo, and we're looking for a talented content creator who wants to become a long-term partner in growing the brand.
This isn't just another social media job. We're looking for someone who wants to help build one of the largest reptile-focused online communities while documenting the creation of a brand-new reptile zoo from the ground up.
Construction is beginning soon, giving you the rare opportunity to capture the entire journey—from an empty building to a world-class wildlife destination.

What You'll Do
- Document the construction and development of Uncle Tony's Reptile Zoo from day one.
- Travel for wildlife expeditions and special filming opportunities.
- Produce high-quality long-form YouTube videos.
- Create engaging short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
- Film, edit, and publish behind-the-scenes content, educational videos, animal encounters, and expedition footage.
- Collaborate on video ideas, storytelling, thumbnails, titles, and overall content strategy.
- Manage and direct a team of editing interns, assigning projects, reviewing edits, and ensuring content meets quality standards and deadlines.
- Help grow the Uncle Tony's Reptiles brand across all social media platforms.
What We're Looking For
- Experience filming and editing YouTube and short-form content.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and audience retention.
- Leadership skills and the ability to manage and mentor a small team of editing interns.
- Comfortable working around reptiles and other live animals.
- Creative, self-motivated, and dependable.
- Open to occasional travel for wildlife expeditions. Potential destinations include the Peruvian Amazon, Indonesia, and Australia.
- Someone who wants to build something long-term—not just complete assignments.
Compensation
- $250 for every completed long-form YouTube video produced.
