Project Specialist
At Atlantic Coast Electric Supply (ACES), we are committed to supporting our customers with industry expertise, strong relationships, and dependable project execution. As we continue to grow, we are looking to add a Project Specialist to our Projects team to support quotations, customer coordination, and project execution across a variety of electrical distribution projects.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, organization, customer interaction, and working in a fast-paced environment alongside sales teams, manufacturers, and contractors.
The Project Specialist will play a key role in managing project-related quotations, coordinating with manufacturer representatives, supporting job execution, and helping ensure customer projects run smoothly from quote to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Project Quotations & Vendor Coordination
- Review incoming project requests, drawings, and specifications
- Send quotation requests to appropriate manufacturer representatives and vendors for pricing
- Assist with preparing project quotations, primarily focused on switchgear and related equipment
- Add gear projects into manufacturer proposal platforms including Siemens and ABB systems
- Review panel schedules, one-line diagrams, lighting schedules, and electrical specifications as part of the quotation process
Project Support & Coordination
- Work closely with the Projects team to support awarded jobs
- Assist with shipping coordination, warranty replacements, and job folder setup
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure incoming project materials are accurate and report damaged material for replacement when necessary
- Maintain organized project documentation including drawings, quotations, and job files within Dropbox and internal systems
Customer & Manufacturer Relationships
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and manufacturer representatives
- Communicate professionally regarding project updates, pricing requests, material concerns, and order status
- Support efforts to win project opportunities through responsiveness, organization, and customer service
Who You Are
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Comfortable reviewing technical documents such as electrical drawings, panel schedules, and specifications
- Strong communicator who works well with customers, vendors, sales teams, and operations
- Self-motivated and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable learning and working within ERP systems, manufacturer portals, and project management tools
- Prior experience in electrical distribution, construction, project coordination, quotations, or inside sales is preferred
- Knowledge of switchgear, lighting packages, or commercial electrical projects is a strong plus.
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
