Duties
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, including counters, sinks, and floors, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
- Support catering events or banquet setups by providing timely dishware and food prep assistance.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to streamline workflow during busy service periods.
- Help with trash disposal and recycling processes to keep the kitchen tidy and organized.
Skills
- Strong understanding of food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices.
- Experience in bussing tables or supporting food service operations is a plus.
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience enhances your ability to adapt quickly.
