EXPERIENCED CARPENTER / LEAD CARPENTER WANTED
Chicago Area & Western Suburbs
$25–$40 PER HOUR | FULL-TIME W-2 POSITION
An established construction company is seeking a reliable, experienced carpenter or lead carpenter for ongoing residential and commercial projects.
Paid vacation and select paid holidays are available after the applicable eligibility period.
Scope of Work
· Residential framing, new homes and room additions
· Residential remodeling, interior trim and millwork
· Commercial steel-stud framing
· Commercial doors, frames and hardware
· Drop ceilings and acoustical ceiling systems
Experience in both residential and commercial carpentry is a strong plus. Lead carpenter opportunities are available for qualified candidates who can read plans, lay out work, direct other carpenters and keep projects moving efficiently.
Requirements
· Professional carpentry experience
· Ability to communicate effectively in English for jobsite coordination and safety
· Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
· Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
· Own basic hand tools, cordless drills, saws and miscellaneous carpentry tools
· Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or with a crew
· Ability to maintain a safe, clean and professional jobsite
Compensation and Benefits
· $25–$40 per hour, based on experience, skill level and leadership ability
· Full-time W-2 employee position
· Paid vacation and select paid holidays after eligibility requirements are met
· Consistent residential and commercial work
Most projects are located throughout the western suburbs and surrounding Chicago area.
