Responsibilities

- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff on food safety protocols, proper handling techniques, and culinary procedures to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation with accuracy and integrity.
- Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff, assigning duties, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours in a quick service or casual dining setting.
- Maintain compliance with health regulations and sanitation standards to uphold the highest levels of food safety and cleanliness.
- Lead staff hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing training to develop a motivated team committed to excellence in food service.
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control measures, and menu development to enhance overall restaurant performance.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, hospitality, and customer service that encourages positive guest interactions and repeat business.
Experience
- Proven management experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment with a focus on kitchen operations.
- Extensive culinary background with hands-on cooking skills across various cuisines; fine dining or banquet experience is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience supervising kitchen staff or food service teams in casual or hotel settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling procedures.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and health regulations within the food industry.
- Experience managing inventory control, food production processes, catering services, or bar operations is advantageous.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
