Scott’s Learning Academy is seeking a dependable, energetic, and experienced Lead Teacher to join our growing team in Savannah, GA.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education, loves working with children, and takes pride in maintaining a structured, clean, and engaging classroom.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and daily activities.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment.
- Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization throughout the day.
- Follow daily schedules and classroom routines consistently.
- Complete observations, documentation, and children’s records on time.
- Communicate professionally with parents and staff.
- Work as a team while also taking ownership of your classroom.
- Ensure all licensing and health and safety standards are followed.
- Prepare children for developmental milestones through hands-on learning.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a licensed childcare center required.
- CDA, TCC, Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, or willingness to obtain required credentials preferred.
- Knowledge of Georgia Bright from the Start regulations is a plus.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance are required.
